The flagship fast-format event on the Northern Stars calendar. Six overs a side, a day of finals, and community cricket at its most electric. Open to registered club and community sides across Victoria.

Format

Rules & Playing Conditions

  • Each team must field a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 11 registered players.
  • Matches are 6 overs per side, T20-style powerplay rules apply for the first 2 overs.
  • A maximum of 2 overs may be bowled by any single bowler.
  • Group stage: round-robin within pools. Top 2 from each pool advance to knockouts.
  • Net Run Rate (NRR) is the first tiebreaker in case of equal points.
  • All players must be registered with their team before the registration deadline — no on-day additions.
  • Standard MCC playing conditions apply unless varied by the match-day umpires.
